It wasn't a happy time for me- fashion wise- when I got pregnant. Why? I'm the type of woman who stocks fat around the lower part of her body so looking all cutie and cuddly while being pregnant doesn't happen to me. That plus the fact that what's available in the market for pregnant hijabis is close to none. Hence, once I started working as a hijab stylist and collaborated with many designers, I had it in my mind that I'll do a whole collection on pregnant outfits and hijabs to make life much easier and happier for women in the same category.
So, I head to "Pelosh Fashion Boutique" here in Abu Dhabi and worked with the beautiful owner Mrs. Maha Bakri on styling these amazing outfits for morning and evening fit for pregnant hijabis. My lovely and very brave friend, Lina Kamel, agreed on modeling for us although she was due any minute. The deal was sealed
The photo shoot was so much fun and very creative. Most of the outfits were made of cotton for maximum comfort. The hijabs were wrapped almost without pins with cotton and elastic fabrics. Since pregnant and hijab don't mean boring, we played with colors and lengths to add versatility and awesomeness!
